The 2016 Radio Alliance Awards were presented on July 16 by the Independent Gospel Artist Radio Alliance (IGARA) announced Carlett Martin as the winner in four categories: Contemporary Artist of The Year, Female Vocalist of The Year, and in two categories for her hit song "Rejoice" - Contemporary Song of The Year and Urban R&P Song of The Year. Founded in 2002 by Keithron Powell, pastor of Victory in Praise Outreach Ministries, the Radio Alliance Awards celebrates the arts in worship.
